Ronna Balderson- AHT
Ronna is currently our Saturday Animal Health Technologist (AHT) at Country Hills Veterinary Clinic. Ronna has been practicing as an AHT since graduating from Olds College in 1991. She has worked with specialty practice veterinarians including veterinary oncology, small animal surgery, and canine reproduction. Ronna is a current member of the Alberta Association of Animal Health Technologists (AAAHT) and has served on their board in the past as both the Ethics Director and the Continuing Education Director.  Ronna enjoys small animal medicine and is very glad to be practicing at Country Hills Veterinary Clinic.

In her spare time, Ronna enjoys cooking for her husband, travelling, and looking after her three entertaining cats.

Elisa Christie- AHT
Elisa graduated from NAIT, Fairview Campus in 2006 from the Animal Health Technology Program. Over the past couple of years she has moved a number of times doing locum work at various clinics. Elisa recently purchased a home here in Calgary’s northwest which brought her to her current role at the Country Hills Veterinary Clinic. Having the opportunity to work at different locations has provided Elisa with the opportunity to experience different aspects of her field.  The diversity at each place has taught her many wonderful skills helping Elisa expand her knowledge and capabilities as a technician.

Elisa’s new home is shared with her boyfriend, her dog Dallas, the cat Wrecks and the newest member a beta fish named Lightning.
