Dr. Sheri Wizniak
Before attending veterinary college, Sheri completed her BSc in Zoology at the University of Calgary in 1993.  She then went on to attend the Western College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Saskatchewan and graduated in 1997 with her DVM.  She then moved back to Calgary and began work in small animal practice until 2000.  At that time she began work in the veterinary industry with Hills Pet Nutrition as a veterinary account manager.  She was responsible for servicing and teaching nutrition to all the small animal vet clinics in southern Alberta and the Kootenays.  Sheri returned to practice in 2005 and has developed interests in the areas of nutrition, dermatology, behavior and reproduction. 

She spends her free time traveling (her favorite is to cruise the Caribbean) and raising/showing her purebred American Shorthair cats.  She hopes to go on to complete her training to become a licensed cat show judge in the future.
